Southwark Police

Southwark Police has a full time LGBT Liaison Officer. This officer works within the Community Safety Unit and is there to support and advise LGBT people. He can take crime reports or can assist where crime reports have been taken.

If you want to report a crime, but don't want to talk to any other officers - you could deal directly with the LGBT Liaison Officer. You can speak to this officer in confidence - you can talk about a crime and get advice without having to report the crime as such. The officer could simply advise you or put an Intelligence Report on the computer which will log what you have told them but without it being followed-up and investigated.
